Four of Crystals
It is important to discover the center of gravity within the soul, that magical core that draws forth creative will. This empowerment helps us build the world according to our deepest values and guiding principles. Personal responsibiltiy and constructive actions are beginning steps toward the foundation of a beautiful life for ourselves and others.
The gnome children portrayed in this card are busily creating a home with various tools and a cooperative spirit. The foundation for this house is an apple tree, signifying the Tree of Life. In Greek myth, the apple tree is a symbol of abundance.
A new consciousness is being built. In Thailand, many people creating houses construct replicas of those structures, to be inhabited by spirits. These miniature models are called 'houses of spirits.' This ancient practice welcomes guardian angels into the households and fashions talismans for the overlighting power of universal love and truth. From the awareness achieved with this practice, family members can develop inner strength and reverence for all life.
These gnomes are very focused. Their work is taken seriously. They hold a vsion that they are in a process of manifestating. What in your life is being built? What inner vision do you carry? Whatever it may be, concentration, reponsibility, devotion and diligence are the four corners you must construct in order to accomplish your true goals.

Card of the Day... Three of Swords
Three of Swords
In this card, a beautiful young madiden is pictured playing a triangle crafted from tiny swords. She contemplates the prospect of harmony and focus. In an open window above, a songbird is perched on the sill, listening to her melody. This songbird symbolizes freedom.
Traditionally, the Three of Swords is a card of stress and confusion, often signally lost love. However, what is actually lost is self-love, for the mind has lost contact with the heart. What is needed is a reunion of the heart chakra and the crown chakra in order that a symphony of thought can find a melodic message of truth within. The bird is a messenger liberating the girl from limiting thoughts. The number 3 signifies joy, harmony, and communication. The triangle also symbolizes the spiritual trinity of spirit, heart and body. The girl is learning how to 'play with' and blend these 3 aspects of human existence. The castle walls suggest the mental constructs that block true expresssion of beautiful soul qualities in the world.
Remember that your thoughts are your allies. Learn to play your thoughts like an orchestra. Your fears might be the drums, your hopes like the violins, and your victories the trumpets. Seek the pure joy of the mind. Don't let the refrains of self-doubt cause mental discord. Your daily language can be as magnificent as a finely tuned Mozart concerto. On a practical level, this card may suggest bringing more music into your life. Play a musical instrument or listen to a favorite recording. The magic of sound can be a healing force - soothing your mind, calming your emotions and relaxing your body.

There is a universal belief that one's reflection is a vital part of one's soul. It is said that reflective surfaces are soul catchers or doorways to the world of spirit. Buddhists accept that all existence is like a reflection in a mirror.
Depicted in this card is a beautiful fairy seeking the deeper meaning of her existence. Unlike Narcissus, whose soul was trapped in his water reflection because of his vanity, this fairy is uniting with her 'beloved self', or the aspect of her ego that is all loving. She sees in her own image the potential of sacred beauty.
When we are ready for inner transformation, we come face-to-face with our true selves. Who is your true self? Are you radiant and glowing? This is a time of profound personal awareness and insight. Find a place of solitude and serenity and explore your hidden talents. Intuitive gifts strengthen you. Perhaps you can visualize your true face.
